TERMS & CONDITIONS

Seattle Translation strives to be competitively priced while keeping quality that “budget” translation firms cannot achieve using their translator foundation. All Seattle Translation's translators are bound to non-disclosure agreements.

A) The charges for translation and desktop publishing are based on the number of word count, number of page count, and format of the source documents.

B) The charges are based upon Seattle Translation returning the completed material via e-mail/FTP or express mail.

C) Seattle Translation prefers that the completed translation be reviewed to ensure that the translation is fully satisfactory. Upon the completion of the review, Seattle Translation will make the necessary changes quickly and return the completed work to the customer at no additional cost, provided there are no changes to the original English document/material.

D) It is understood that the client will make any glossaries of terminology available to Seattle Translation. However, if the glossaries were not available, any reference material would be good to Seattle Translation.

E) Your translation will be assigned to a full-time or part-time mother tongue translator with appropriate technical background and expertise.

F) Clients will be advised of the delivery time for the translation of their projects prior to the commencement of the translation. Alternative delivery times can be arranged if necessary. However, this may incur an additional rush charge.

G) Delivery will be made free of charge but within a previously agreed time scale, through whatever means is appropriate.

H) The charges and other terms detailed in the proposal are binding upon Seattle Translation and are valid within 30 days from the initial quote date.

I) The agreement page must be signed and faxed/emailed back to Seattle Translation prior to commencement of the translation assignment.
